  1. Sweet parallel. I like that this picture not only captures the two sets of sisters but gives us a sense of personality in each of the girls.

    • You are very observant, Katie. These are my nieces, and they are as different as night and day. Thanks for taking the time to comment. Are you still on the road?

      • No, I’m finally home, but I’ve been so caught up in settling in and getting back to a normal life that I’ve missed some posts.

      • Welcome home!

      • Thanks, Naomi! It’s been nice settling in. Now I’m looking for a job!

  2. Any photo with kitten toes and kids is a winner in my book. 🙂

    • Thanks, Susan. I appreciate the visit.

  3. Very good, I think – friends with friends.

    • I like that! Thanks for stopping by, Carol.

  4. Love this! Especially as the new-ish mom of two girls. There’s a relationship between the girls and a relationship between the kittens, and we see those girls getting to know a kitten. Sweet.

  5. Hi,
A lovely photo, very cute. 🙂

  6. That is the cutest!

  7. Ahh…

    • It was a sweet moment–those are my nieces, all grown up now with babies of their own.

  8. Sweet 🙂

  9. That’s a lovely picture 🙂 They’re so absorbed in what they’re doing, which makes it such a natural shot without any self-consciousness on their part.

    • Thank you, Sarah. It was a lucky shot.

  10. So sweet… They look quite content. 🙂

    • Probably just like any little girl with a kitten in her arms. There’s something therapeutic about it. Thanks for stopping by.

  11. A post that reminds me of the priceless gift of having a family. I grew up with 5 sisters and they were my good friends too. Wonderful post.

    • We had five girls and two boys in our family. Did you have any brothers?

  12. I missed this one! It’s so cute!!!!

    • Hi Ioanna,
Those are my little nieces, who are all grown up now, but I have always loved the photo. Thanks for stopping by.

  13. precious!

  14. And those are my daughters. How sweet to see a photo of those darling girls of mine and to remember a time of such innocence. My heart is flooded with memories. It happens that at this moment I am caring for another set of sisters, two of my sweet granddaughters. Thanks for sharing this photo.

    • Oh, Lee! I hope you are taking LOTS of photos! This certainly brought back some happy memories for me too. Wasn’t Grandma Eleanor with us too?

      • She probably was. She always made everything a little more wonderful when she was there. Can I somehow get a copy of that photo to share? I couldn’t get it to come up on my site. What else do you have of my darlings? This one brought tears to my eyes that I can’t even explain. Life is so full of longing.

  15. Dear Lee, I am so glad that you enjoyed a sweet peek into the past. I have other ones of the girls that are really good. I took them long before anyone had ever heard of a digital camera, so I have to scan the hard copies, but I’ll send them to you. Love, n

  16. … Very gentle.
    🙂

    • Thank you, Ritika. I really appreciate your visit, and your thoughtful comment.

  17. Aw so cute. At first I just saw the one set of sisters but ahem then I realized there was a precious black furball in each of their arms. 🙂

    • Hi Kourtney, what goes better than little girls and kittens? Thanks for stopping by.

  18. Too sweet for my insufficient words.

    • You just said it beautifully, Tess! It means a lot to me. Thank you so much for stopping by.

  19. I enjoyed the beautiful photography and interesting articles on your blog. I found you through a comment you made to Subhan Zein . I am on his “great fellow bloggers” lists and look for blog sites that interest me from ther. Your travels must have been a wonderful adventure! I will follow your blog and hope you will look at mine and consider following it as well. Best wishes. beebeesworld

  20. Such a lovely photo, Naomi. Those kittens are in good hands. 😉

  21. Twice the love and twice the fun!
