Hi guys,

I am currently agonizing over what to write here. ย Please come back in a day or two, and I’ll make you a virtual cup of coffee.

  1. I just read through your posts back to January, loving them – travel, history, personal insights – and I’m now looking for a way to subscribe to your blog by email, but can’t find any subscription possibilities. Do you have a widget I’m not seeing? Can you add one please?

    1. Hi Jennifer–thanks for your sweet comment. Up on top of the blog there is a black bar that says ‘Follow.’ I hope you can find it; it would be great to stay in touch. I am still learning the blog technology–I only just learned how to link. But i still need to learn how to add a widget. I will see if I can figure that out. I’m taking baby steps, but always in the right direction. Thank you for your patience!

  2. Cute!
I have to get some real Joe now …
but I look forward to getting to know you better whenever you are ready …

Of course, nothing reveals us more than our regular post, eh?

    1. Howdy! You have a whacky sense of humor that I enjoy. Seeing Baldy reminded me of Last summer. On the way home from the Canadian Rockies, my husband and I stopped in at The Amazing One of a Kind Museum in Spokane, Washington. It was worth the trip. All over the museum, among the other exhibits, there were stuffed squirrels in canoes, in firetrucks, flying overhead in little airplanes. Thanks for the follow. I look forward to your next post.

  3. Hi Naomi, thank you for visiting my blog. I thought I’d pop over and see what you’re all about. I love your honest ‘about me’ page, actually. Learning the ropes is half the fun of running a blog. Enjoy yourself! Kate

      1. You’re very welcome. I am happily following your blog and wanted to share some blog love. ๐Ÿ˜‰

    1. thank you so much. I feel the same way about your blog. I look forward to participating in your image of life challenge! Thank you for creating that outlet for your followers.

  6. Merhaba! As am admirer or your work, I have nominated you for the One Lovely Blog award โ€“ pop on over to my page http://crazytraintotinkytown.com for details. Appreciate these awards involve some work, so please take your time or if you have received them before, my apologies but itโ€™s still nice to know someone appreciates your blog. May your day be filled with sunshine

    1. Just found this in unread messages, and could have sworn I replied. I want to thank you so much for the honor, for your kinds words. You have filled my day with sunshine.

  9. Hi thanks for visiting my blog. I am wondering about that virtual coffee you mention here, so will settle for wandering off to the kitchen for one. However like the posts so I’ll be back. ๐Ÿ˜€

  10. Hey Naomi! Sorry I have to do this here in your About page. I don’t know if you got the reply I made to your comment over at my blog. In case you didn’t I just wanted to say thanks for the honest input (seriously I mean that from the bottom of my heart). Service should be done wholeheartedly indeed!

Much much blessings from across the Pacific,

  11. Dear Naomi,
How I waited this long to follow you I don’t know. But I am sure I’ll be making up for lost time. A pleasure to meet you and the wonderful spirit you infuse us with in your writing and photography! Hugs, Sharon

    1. Hi Sharon,
It is a pleasure to meet you too! I am so glad to have discovered your blog, and look forward to reading more of it. From what I have read, I can tell that you have great energy, a real spark!

  12. Naomi, I want to make sure I’m adding the correct book of yours to my Bloggers Between the Covers page…did you write Apples from Heaven, Multicultural Folk Tales…?

    1. Thank you so much! Yes, I wrote Apples From Heaven: Multicultural Folk Tales About Stories and Storytellers, which won four national awards. I am also the co-author of a historical novel, The Keeper of the Crystal Spring, a Doubleday Book-of-the-Month Club selection, and a couple other non-fiction storytelling books.

    1. Hi Kev,
I read your about page too! I’ve been to Cardiff three times, for the storytelling festival at the castle and to the open air history museum. It is a beautiful country with a rich history. I am pleased to meet you too!
      Kind regards,

  13. Every Blogger has ‘Bloggers Block’ from time to time, I guess Naomi?.

Thank You for visiting my Blog, MUCH Appreciated. I am ‘Following’ yours too. :).

I look forward to future Posts. ๐Ÿ™‚

    Best Wishes
    Kev. ๐Ÿ™‚

  14. Hi Naomi
Thank you for visiting our blog and for the ‘likes’. I’ve been travelling around in your blog a bit and think I’d better follow it ๐Ÿ™‚
I love the train story – go on, just drink that water already! (grin)
I’m trying to catch up on tales from our last adventure while we take a break in Mexico. Chiang Mai next. And then Myanmar – very much looking forward to posting about that – just extraordinary.

  15. I have been coming to this page and waiting for that virtual cup of coffee and a little more information on you. One thing is to imagine and assume based on how you write and what you right about but totally something else when you tell your own story…

No pressure but I am waiting to be able to say – Hi, Naomi, nice to meet you. Of course, I can say that any time but …

  16. HIiiiiiiii!
I don’t know if you’ve seen my blog recently, but you are one of the four winners from my competition.

If you’d just let me know what sort of file type you’d like (.mobi or .epub) I’ll have a copy of Vicki & Lara sent out to you on or around 13 October 2013.

Thanks again for commenting on my blog. Interaction means everything!

  17. Hey Naomi,

Thanks for reading Generation Passport over the last year. I tend to write more than I read blogs. I wanted you to know that I have switched to a self-hosted website, but you can still find me at Generation Passport [dot] com. Thanks for all of your support over the last read. I really appreciate it!

I’m working on switching over hundreds of WordPress.com users so I can appear in the WordPress.com feed, again. It will probably happen within the next month when the tech support is back up at .com Thanks again, and I really appreciate your comments and positive support.

  18. Hello!
Thank you for following my blog. I know how many interesting blogs are out there and feel honored that you picked mine to follow. I hope my stories entertain and inform and my photos bring you joy and wonderment.
I travel mostly local but try to always find interesting places. I have lived in several different places and dig through my archives of photos to bring glimpses into places I have been. Sometimes I post a recipe because food tells a lot about culture.
    Iris the Wanderer

  19. I’m very honoured that you are following my blog too!! I will be reading more from you and I love the title Keeper of the Crystal Spring!! I will look for that. I only just began to put my little stories out there and am pleased for the response I have been given.
